Itinerary
Day 1: PUERTO MALDONADO OUT TO THE LODGE

Leaving the city of Puerto Maldonado will board a motor boat, and we will go to our hostel. Upon arrival we will settle in the cabins. We start our trip entering the forest for the first time, accompanied by one of our naturalist guides. We enjoy watching the large and diverse wildlife such as monkeys, agoutis, butterflies, tapirs, toucans and many other species of animals.

DAY 2: VISIT TO THE MACAW CLAY LICK

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we board our boat to travel upriver. We begin the journey to enter the jungle, walking along a path of 1.7 kilometers an hour, along the way we will observe the extensive Amazon wildlife We can visualize the white-lipped peccary clay lick, who gather to feed on mineral deposits found here. We descry also Collpa in its variety of species that feed on the clay deposits. After appreciating the birds return to the river through another route, we return to the lodge and board our boat to enjoy a typical lunch. After lunch, you will have the afternoon off so you can perform different activities you choose.

DAY 3: HIKE TO LAKE SACHAVACAYOC

Now we travel downstream, begin a walk on a path that will lead us to a beautiful lake. During the walk the guide will explain various aspects of tropical forest and its wildlife. At the lake we find the black caiman, giant otters and macaws. We return to the Eco lodge for lunch and have the afternoon free to relax and perhaps enjoy a swim in these beautiful waterways.

DAY 4: RETURN FLIGHT

At dawn during our return we have the chance to observe the tropical forest as you wake up; so we end our journey in the Amazon jungle to return to the city of Puerto Maldonado for your flight.
